As somebody that grew up in and around Baltimore, I can tell you that these tremors are very rare. I do not ever recall feeling one in the 31 years I was there. There would be reports of them and a few people in some towns would feel them, but just about everybody in the Baltimore/DC metro area felt this one. Some people I know had things fall off their shelves down in the Annapolis area. The plates in that area have been known to be very stable.Comment
