I felt it here in Mass as well, two short ones close together. My monitor was shaking slightly and I was thinking WTF is that an earthquake..

I guess I'm not crazy..I was just looking on http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/ to see if anything was listed.

Yeah I thought it was a truck going by until everything started shaking like crazy...I have never experienced an earthquake like this living in Virginia...it was interesting!

Quakes in the east are way more potentially damaging than in the west though. If a 5.9 hit san diego how far away might someone notice it? With this 5.9 in virgiania, people in detroit are feeling it. Lots of OLD nuke plants back east too.
