but here is a list of non shit:

1. Everything Must Go
2. Jane Eyre
3. The Girl in the Cafe
4. Submarine
5. Super 8 (better than I thought)

All I can think of at the moment,

if you need some real overlooked gold, shoot me an e-mail.

I respect you Fris, but most of those movies on your list are just sad.

Frozen ended up being plenty watchable.
Empty was slightly entertaining, but the main characters are so stupid in how they deal with things and constantly bickering.. So there were Gordon Ramsey periods of, "FUCK ME!"
Super 8 good
Paul good and easy to watch like Pineapple Express
Cowboys and Indians was good enough to watch...

Rise of the Planet of the Apes.. saw that yesterday. It's amazing.

The only reason people say they don't like it is because they want to look like movie buffs and think of shitty arguments why the movie isn't good. It's good.

Blame it on the lens flares!

Movies are meant for passive watching, not constant criticism.

A few movies I watched recently expecting to kill time with some cheap crap and was surprised by how much I enjoyed them were:

The Perfect Host
Repeaters
Conan the Barbarian (the new one) It's a good movie if you can get over that gay porn set refugee pretending to be Conan.

Last recent movie was Rise of the Planet of the Apes: Excellent.

Last night on SPACEHD they played the original Resident Evil (#1) followed by the remain of Dawn of the Dead, both completely uncensored. Both excellent movies.

hate the movie buffs, and raters, who give movies 5 out of 10, when in fact they are really good.

i ignore most of the raters like nytimes, etc.

if i want to see a movie i will, nothing anybody says will stop me from doing so.

Yea I just watched Super 8 the other day, it was a little slow to get started but wasn't a bad movie. I am number 4 was another that was ok as far as sci fi stuff.

All most forgot another pretty good movie was The Way Back.. was a true story about a group of prisoners whom escaped from a Siberian prison.

1. Winnie Pooh - the new movie , it was awesome.
2. Detective K - korean crime movie with some hilarious moments in the medieval times
3. Your Highness - I've watched it for Natalie Portman only and it was so fucking stupid and awesome at the same time, that I'd recommend it to everyone who wish to waste some time and to laugh at some bullshit.
4. Stakeland

Damn I really dislike pretentious tools like you. If the movie isn't some low budget B-Rate movie, it must be a shitty movie . Just shut up and enjoy a movie for what it is, don't need to hear about what you thought about the angles, lighting and the deeper meaning of a plot.

Let me guess, Donnie Darko is your all time favorite movie?

I despise Donnie Darko.

Pretentious because the standard of movies these days is total shit? Go fuck yourself. I like big budget movies the same as everyone else (could have sworn I listed SUPER 8). But the utter bullshit they churn out these days is mind numbing garbage.

Sorry I don't enjoy movies that I can predict the outcome in the first 15 minutes. Or any cookie cutter movies made with a specific "formula" for the masses approval such as yourself. If that makes me pretentious, fuck I'm proud of it.

Now go relax and enjoy Daddy Day Care ya dumb bastard.
