What does a big star in google search mean?

I think that's a settings thing. Either notifications or you if not then it's something like you can highlight certain messages or people with stars. It's in Settings somewhere. But since I'm watching my beloved Yankees right now with my GF I won't be providing any more info. Good luck tho!

It doesn't seem to be about messages or people.
It looks like a rating of the webpage more than anything else.

But I only see it when logged into gmail.

That would be what it is.

Only one thing though; I don't have any google bookmarks period.

Maybe one day I clicked the star and didn't even know it.
I'm pretty sure I clicked it now that I'm looking at firefox.
It's right next to the history drop button so I've clicked by accident
for sure.

I didn't even know it was there until now.
