both me and the boyfriend have the galaxy s and both of us dislike it
his is barebones, no apps and it slows and stutters
mine's loaded and lately it won't recognize my finger so i have to keep pressing, it freezes and crashes
starting to have doubts about android a lot, maybe the Galaxy S II is better but if you want to be on the latest Android version you will have to wait a lot as Samsung Androids are skinned and they take forever to update them......

I have the S2. I love it. vivid, fast, efficient.
Ive heard a lot of things bad from other people such as freezing and weird quirky shit happening. BUt they are mostly girls that have tons of apps too so.
The most mine has ever fucked up is when a person texts me in the top left it shows names. ONce in awhile, like every 1000 texts it will pop the wrong name. Like someone texts me and it says bob when it was really joe. The weird thing about that is. Its always racial. Like A black girl texted me but it popped another black girls name. Each time its like that.Comment

I have the S2 and I like it a lot, but it has its cons too.
The thing I hate the most is the lower wifi signal, for example : I sat with a friend of mine on the terrace of his house, he had quite good wifi signal with his HTS Desire S, I couldnt catch the signal at all.
Another thing is that a few games crashed on me, could be an error of the app thou, I have no idea what caused it.
It also tends to overheat at times, after a 15 or 20 minutes of heavy use, its hard to make a phone call as the thing is soo fucking hot it feels like your ear is gonna melt
And the damn battery - if you plan to use apps or surf a lot, there is no chance in hell it will last longer than 12 or so hours When using it lightly, it will take 1 and half day or maybe two days at best.
The phone is still very good I am satisfied with it, just wanted to point out the weaker parts

i went from samsung galaxy S1 to S2, and it's the best phone - faster than Iphone, and better .. look at any review, just google it ;)
only bad thing about S2 compared to S1 is the default email app, damn i wish the s2 had a mark all as read button like the s1 email did.......Blog Post Writing and Reviews are **2 cents per word** & Titles and Gallery Descriptions **1 cent per word**
