Sorry to hear about your friend Harvey. Life is cruel, sometimes there is nothing we can do to help heal the wounds of friends and family. We should try though. People aren't objects, when we break sometimes it's impossible to put things back together in one piece.

I don't believe suicide is a good solution to almost anything but intractable physical or mental pain but I understand how people can feel that it is.

Friend of mine I used to play poker with just killed himself too.

to be honest i never learned about this in school (u.s.), and if you look into "operation condor" you'll see why it was never taught in U.S. schools. its some sick shit.

no problem Harmon, many people around the world doesn't know what happened here, many people here still doesn't know the magnitude of what happened, not even those of us who have a deep involvement in the subject. Last week we found the #102 "appropriated kid" and she recovered her real identity. We know there are still around 400 to be found, including my friend's brother.

The sequels of what happened are even worse than what happened itself, as terrible as it was. Suicide, chronic psychological and psychiatric issues are just everyday's things, not to mention the problems on a whole social level. There are thousands of books, studies and documentaries on the subject so I won't extend anymore, just say that the decision she made is tragic and sad, but not a surprise. The culprits, their families, former secret services and so on are specialists in playing the strings on those more affected by this tragedy, and some fucker got what he was searching for.

You know what? As sad as I am, I just came from her funeral. Thousands of people were present to say good bye, or like we say here "Presente", a way to let the world she will never leave us. Hundreds of flags, newspapers mourning her, even the President sending flowers. In many public places it was declared a day of mourning and flags are half-mast. Her murderers, her family murderers, even the family of them have to be hidden and they're avoided like the plague.

In some way, we knew V was murdered 34 years ago, she just stood around to help us keep going
