Jon Stewart: Why Is the Media Ignoring Ron Paul? *VIDEO*

Hilarious vid. RP is being ignored because he doesn't fit the narrative. As Juan Williams has said, RP is the FATHER of the Tea Party. He called out the financial mess many years before the shit finally hit the fan. Same with foreign policy. Keynes didn't pan out. His strong Iowa poll numbers indicate his "radical" prescriptions are finally resonating with key parts of the GOP electorate. You can bet that if the economy continues to tank and foreign involvements result in worse blowback, we'll see more and more of his ideas go mainstream. -

You wonder wrong. The left is hardly pushing Ron Paul and polls show Ron Paul is much more likely to beat Obama than anyone, but Romney who is 1% ahead of Paul. While they are not in agreement on many issues, Jon Stewart genuinely likes Ron Paul, as a person, and feels he is being slighted. The best ePassporte replacement I have found: OKPAYComment

His looks are what stop him.
If Ron Paul was a handsome, tall, middle-aged man with a touch of gray in his hair, he'd be the front runner.
This all started in 1960...the debate when Nixon had to deal with Kennedy's looks. Not his ideas. Fast forward to Sarah Palin, who proves all you gotta be is good looking to get somewhere in politics.Comment

ron paul is a flip flopping outsider, someone who speaks the language but doesnt communicate it well. he fails to bring consensus to the table, stands alone, and would as a result make a horrible president.
his own party wont deal with him, the democrats will laugh at him, and perhaps only the tea baggers will tolerate him. if you think obama is bad, imagine a situation where nobody wants to deal with the president, and he vetos everything that comes to his desk. wow.Comment

Dumb question here - Is it possible the Republicans don't want the White House because they know the econonmy is the big issue and there is no easy fix? So instead they'll just bash the Democrats to make them look bad?You wonder wrong. The left is hardly pushing Ron Paul and polls show Ron Paul is much more likely to beat Obama than anyone, but Romney who is 1% ahead of Paul. Very possible. It reminds me of what the Governor of the Bank of England said after their election last year:
http://business.timesonline.co.uk/to...cle7112329.eceThe Governor of the Bank of England was at the centre of an electoral storm last night after saying that the austerity measures needed to tackle Britain?s budget deficit would be so unpopular that whoever wins next week would not get back into government for a generation. The best ePassporte replacement I have found: OKPAYComment

"Give me the Palin stuff, hold the Ron Paul stuff".
That says it all, Fox is shit news.
I don't even care to vote for Ron Paul but that was still bullshit.Comment

When a candidate is left out of the media for two elections it makes you wonder...
What is it about the candidate that scares the shit out of the rich old white guys who control the networks and have deep ties with the government ;)
EDIT: Last election they physically edited him out of all the debates... that's not neglect or laziness, that's straight up fear.Last edited by BestXXXPorn; 08-16-2011, 11:11 AM.ICQ: 258-202-811 | Email: eric{at}bestxxxporn.comComment

Lets see the field.
Perry = Chair for Al Gore in 1988
Bachmann = Worked on Carter campaign
Romney = Loves mandates, RomneyCare, has been on every side of every issue.
Gee I wonder why the media loves these three.
