That is complete bullshit. Shake is the ends of the 'sugar leaves' that have dried up and broken off the bud and have anywhere from half to 3/4 thc content as the bud itself. Edibles are great! I use them as a foundation for my daily pain relief.
Since I vaporize, there is still leftover herb containing various cannabinoids that I use for making into cannabutter, and then I cook with it. Quite economical and efficient...
