where is this mysterious police state? why are they unable to crush any uprisings?

i think it was more cost effective to hire people to create a myth of a super police state than to hire actual cops.

it's a twist on 1984, where the supposed "opposition" is in charge of state propaganda.

My little home town here is having a financial crisis and has cut back drastically on our police department. We used to see the police constantly and it was always reassuring. We had no crime. Now after the cut backs we rarely see our police. We've had two shootings here in the past six months, which is unheard of for us. The jewelry store was broken into last month, and this morning the smoke shop was broken into.

While this might not be a big deal for most, it is for us. I miss the police.

I think when your younger you fear the police, and then when your old you want the security they offer.

I'm a fan of policemen and military men, but I'm not a fan of how they are often utilized.

Those in power fear losing that power and often times channel that fear into those they wish to control.

The human psychological response to fear is anxiety, resentment & anger. Not good for any society.

The police state is about to get a whole hell of a lot worse. For starters I predict the next false flag will be partially blamed on the internet. We will be barraged with news reports of how the terrorists used the internet to organize and carry out their plans. This will be the excuse to crack down on the anonymous free speech on the internet. I can imagine the internet being "killed" for a period of time for "national security reasons" and then when it goes back up you will have to use your real name whenever you post anything. This will make 99% of the complainers stay silent because they will fear repercussions. You can expect threads like you see now to basically disappear and the ones that will make it online will be "shouted down" by the throngs of paid propagandists who are paid to mold public opinion on the message boards of ABC, FOX News, CNN etc etc.

Well to be honest it has caused lots of problems in my personal life since I was a teenager. I saw all this all clearly when I was very young. Even my own family thought I was crazy. But after they see prediction after prediction come true they are starting to turn a bit. Nothing has ever been accomplished though peaceful protesting. Ever. Can you name just one time where a series of peaceful protests resulted in major policy change?

Many sites will not let you use false name. They don't totally enforce it yet, but it is happening. The post above is a bit extreme, but you can't open a phone line in a false name either. One thing the government doesn't like, is people using fake info to stay anon.

In ten years it's going to be a lot different online.

Yeah this has been my only issue over the years. I have always make such extreme predictions. I really thought that by 2011 we would be a lot further down the road in terms of the police state than we are now. I thought surely after Sept 11 that there would be more false flags on American soil but instead I was wrong and they took the false flags on a road show around the world. I guess since most the USA proved themselves to be spineless morons there was no reason to spread any more fear among them. So I do admit I am not exactly accurate in all my predictions but overall the path is easy to predict. The end result is easy to predict. Yes, the net may not in fact be "killed" for a number of days/weeks but I am certain that anons will be a thing of the past in the not too distant future. And I am pretty sure that terrorism will be used to make the sheep accept the changes. Also easy access to porn sites will also be used as a way to sway the millions of dumb Christians into accepting changes to the net.

That's some kick ass propaganda then, because if we stop turning those wheels, this country falls instantly.

Out of all the people all of us know, it's odd none of us (from what it sounds) knows a person that is paid by these corps or the gov, to do exactly what we say they're doing.... which if it is true, would require like a million people sized army of people just to stay up with todays posts/threads/topics.

What I am really hoping for is an offer to be a paid propagandist. I feel I can outclass any of the current crop of dis-info agents out there on the net today. I could really shine in such a role.
