Sounds like what Plaxico did up in the club. That dude was already cocked, locked and ready to rock.Comment

The guns you are talking about, even though they are cocked and the safety is on, will never misfire. They are designed to carry cocked and locked.
Guns with no safety? you are talking about double action guns?
Even a Glock has a trigger safety that prevents it from accidental fire, unless of course you have your finger on the trigger when you are adjusting it in the front of your pants!

Hehe I remember riding a bike with one of those in my shorts at summertime, but safety was on.. it was a M1911. Never misfired even though it was old.But.... I pulled out...Comment

My Ruger 97DC does not have a safety or anything to prevent the trigger pull (except the 12lb trigger pull with hammer decocked) when a round is chambered. My Glock trigger lever is a weak safety at best. The guns you are talking about, even though they are cocked and the safety is on, will never misfire. They are designed to carry cocked and locked.

Glocks have 3 safety mechanisms.
Most all modern revolvers have a transfer bar safety.Last edited by BV; 08-08-2011, 01:51 PM.Comment

Ruger P90 DC is a de-cocker only, no safety.
But in any case, the ultimate safety is the holster. If you can't pull the trigger, it can't go off (in double action mode, of course).Michael Sperber / Acella Financial LLC/ Online Payment Processing
