I loved Thundercats and of course Transformers! The shittiest thing is that the new Transformers has been converted to crappy Japanimation as well. Maybe the animators are just too lazy to draw faces using more than 6 lines

i loved cartoons growing up but I will pipe up in the girlie side of things and say Josie and the Pussycats and Jem and the Holigrams kicked girl power ass before most of the spice girls were even born.

Plus on the comic book level I loved Archie and it still ticks me off that most kids don't know that is where Sabrina the Teenage Witch came from. Hmm, speaking of Archie I used to like the new Archie cartoon that was on NBC in the late 80's.

Shirttales was also on a good deal.

I used to love the Smurfs, GI Joe, Thundercats, Inspector Gadget, and Heathcliff.

Anyone remember The Littles? They were that munch of little tiny people that lived in a wall of some kids house. It was on saturday mornings for a while.

I loved the Thundercats. I used to also whatch Voltron, that was a great cartoon, with the lions, not all of those little vehicles, that series sucked, ha ha ha.

Fraggle Rock, ROFL, I used to love that show.

How about "Hot Fudge Sundae" (I think that's what it was called) with Gary Ganew, the "No ganews is good ganews show", ha ha ha. It wasn't a cartoon though.

G.I. Joe used to rock, it always got to me though how they'd be storming up a hill with Cobra soldiers on top shooting down at them, missing them every time, ha ha ha.

I'm with you on this one. The Wile E. Coyote/Roadrunner cartoons are still the funniest I have ever seen. It's a shame there aren't more of them. I also love Foghorn Leghorn, Bugs Bunny and Droopy.

80's cartoons: I loved Thundercats and Voltron (yes, Voltron was Japanimated). I also dug the Smurfs and the Gummi Bears. Gummi Bears had a kickass theme song. G.I. Joe was good, too.

some more of my all-time favorites: Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, Ducktales, Heathcliff, Garfield and Friends and The Snorks (obscure).

I also liked Dungeons and Dragons, He-Man (but NOT She-Ra), Inspector Gadget, Transformers (didn't care much for Go-Bots, though), Beetlejuice, Thundar The Barbarian (remember that one?), Mr. T, Muppet Babies, Alvin and the Chipmunks... probably a bunch I am forgetting.

my favorite part of all the old cartoons is all the subliminal messages. watch bugs sometime. roadrunner specifically. when he's runnin down the road being chased by coyote, they pass billboards. a lot of them say things like "SMOKE". you wouldnt catch it unless you were looking for it, or just were really attentive.

THANK YOU! Is that what is was called? I keep bringing that up in converations like these and non one every remembers it. It was based in the Nothern Territory or somewhere like that. I loved Gary Ganew.

Another one that I seem to be the only one to watch is one that came on really early on a Saturday morning. It featured two kids - a girl and a boy. One lived on earth and the other one in space and for some insane reason the kid on earth played the space kid Lauerl and Hardy films. Does anyone else remember this?

Plus for those Philly folks - Capt Noah ..no one was ever better.
