    I have around 500 videos, which I need someone to make up and add titles, description, and tags for (I have a tag list to use). Need to have the job done this week!

                              Is $500 really asking too much for this project? Honestly curious here. I write stories, blog posts, reviews, etc., etc., and to custom write a paragraph, title, and add tags, $1 each sounds reasonable.

                              Maybe I'm being foolish by not outsourcing these things if $1 per sounds crazy.

                                                          This is data entry grunt work, I would expect someone to do this in two full work days at the most, around 16 hours total and get paid $12/hr. I think that is a fair price for this type of work.

                                                          That would be around $200 for this. $500 is just ripping you off.

                                                                          You will need to see at least 60 secs to get an idea of what is going on in the scene add another min to download the scenes and fuck around opening them and thats before you even think about writing anything....

                                                                                                                          Not necessarily. He could have a few guys working for him and that is how he would get the project completed that quickly.

                                                                                                                          You might receive better results if you post what your budget is. $500 is out of budget, what is in budget? $50? $150? $300?

                                                                                                                          Failed, odds are your posts are higher quality than what you would receive paying someone else one dollar per. You might want to try someone and see how they work out. Keep in mind, people that work for lower wages are often less reliable. If your work runs on a specific timeframe, that will change the price as well. With that said, hiring out work for cheaper than what it costs you to do yourself is always a good idea.

But I like to nitpick at stuff like that. I can keypunch in tons of data without looking, but deciding on stuff beyond "chick takes it in the ass" a few hundred times makes my head smoke after a while. Had enough of that when reviewing for tgp's a hundred years ago.

                                                                                                                                                              I know it's not my pocket, so it's kinda irrelevant, but $0.8 to $1 is what I would expect to pay, I don't think it's expensive. I mean: view or download 500 videos. Say 2 mins per video is enough. + 1 or 2 minutes to write a proper title, a proper description and a bunch of tags that, to make it worse, are provided. That's around 4 mins per vid multiplied by 500=2000 minutes or a little over 33 hours. I'm talking of professional results, of course, not "hot blonde fucking" for 300 videos and "hot brunette fucking" for the other 200.

                                                                                                                                                              On the other hand, every time I hired someone to do this kind of job ALWAYS got the "hot blonde fucking" result. At least after the first 80-100 videos

                                                                                                                                                                                      $1.00 per item is pretty fair if you're writing a good post sized description.. if it's just a one liner then thats a bit different.. but sitting, watching, and entering the data, adding tags, keywords, etc. in an accurate manner is a bit different then just taking one look and writing something like "Blonde with pink dildo spreads her legs" Thats worth about 5 cents..

                                                                                                                                                                                          If you want stuff in titles and descriptions like name of pornstar, what scene from what movie the clip is from, what are they doing in the video, who are they fucking and proper unique descriptions for each clip I think you will have to pay a little more unless you can provide all this info yourself.
