Twice I have dated buddies girl friends after they said they where done and it was ok if I asked them out. In both cases their relationships where on the skids and in both cases, their ex-girlfriends said they where interested in me first.

In both cases, I didn't talk to my buddies again for months. Sounded good going in but when it happens, people get pissed.
