I enjoyed it... But its no 10/10.

There were so many throwbacks, references, small touches and blatantly overt "in your face" style nerd candy to the originals that I found it kind of cheesy.

in the end credits it shows you a pilot getting on a plane with a virus that will kill him the pilot got the virus from a man who worked at the lab were they were developing a cure for alzheimer's so basicly they are trying to say that pilot will get on the plane and spread the virus that will kill everybody and only apes will survive

I thought the original planet of the apes, was the astronauts crash landing on another planet that was populated by clever apes. I don't think the original series had anything to do with apes on earth.
