I don't that video is too bad, pretty clear to me for the cheap camera they include with the IPad2

I'm on my iPad 2 right now. I absolutely love it. The graphics are beautiful. The real treat is the app store though. iPad has some really amazing apps.

the camera on that thing is indeed very poor, when using it outdoors it's somewhat better.

for facetime/skype it does the job

they needed to leave some room for improvement for the ipad 3 LOL

Lol... I can't believe people on GFY are complaining about the cam quality on an iPad. Come on you know better. The Camera on an iPad is about as good as a half decent WEBCAM. It's not a pro camera, it's not an amateur camera, it's not even a camera. It's a WEBCAM.

If you want a great camera, pickup one of the new $200.00 jobs from from Sony. It takes awesome 16 gigs-per-photo clarity. Insane. It's a CAMERA and thats what it does.

The Webcams and the cams on iPads, ipad2s, iphones etc, all have tiny lens, and super tiny sensors. The tiny lens require the cameras to have lots of light. Without lots of light, the soft shutter has to stay "open" longer just to get a bright enough picture which generates noise (or grain) in the image.

Really this is basic camera-stuff 101.

Yes iPhone has a better camera. The iPad camera is not as good and does not claim to be. It is for FaceTime more than anything. Other than that, that iPad is killer.
