    $7000 for a domain down the drain

    ...just read an old email from about 4 years ago, from someone that wanted to buy a domain from me for $7000 - it was legit.

    somehow I didn't notice the email, and the domain expired last year.

              It was a domain that matched a persons name. And that person wanted it. I totally forgot that I even had it.

                      Sucks! I wanted to buy a domain off this guy a while ago for $500 but he never responded. Few weeks later I get the email from godaddy that the $15 backorder was processed hahaha

                                                                      I was about to complete a $500 transaction for a name through escrow (so say $570 all inclusive). I got distracted and never completed it.

                                                                      Backorder completed 3 months later for $69.

I offered a woman $2500 for a domain and she replied "No thanks, Im going to work on the site." A year later I got it from Snapnames for $70.
