I started a site for zombie lovers, trying to build a community up. I have not finished skinning the site yet but I would love it if some of you would check it out and give me some feedback, or shit, maybe even register and post.

That people sign shit image verification is kinda lame, I'd make it easier to join. I had not used it before and was wary so I didn't even notice the 2nd set matching was required until try 3 [it was faded out].

There's alot of micro community sites in the horror genre. Do you have any unique angles / compelling content in mind?

What do you do in adult? Zombie babe of the month can always be a good add. You wouldn't be the only site doing it, but it's a start. It's something that attracts a male base, team up with a company like sideshow collectables or house of mysterious secrets and offer some gift certificates so you have a value add and start inviting hot undead girls on facebook to compete - you get content as well as free advertizing and traffic.

Oh, and Billy Mitchell sucks.

Whats the zombie flick where they all get on I think a sailboat at the end and finally land and get out on a dock and think they are safe until a shit ton of zombies run at them? and its all foggy at this point?

I watch sooo many zombie movies I can't keep them straight.

Yes, I love me some zombies. I love the video games, the movies, the books, TV, etc. I fantasize about living in a post-apocalyptic zombie infested world, and how I would be very handy to have around. Some favorite stuff:

Dawn of the Dead 2004 -- ripped off the 28 Days Later "quick zombies", but did it so well.

Zombie Survival Guide -- pretty funny book

Left 4 Dead 2

28 Weeks Later -- I'll get flack for picking this one over 28 Days Later.

Dead Rising 2

Walking Dead TV series -- but I don't care for the comics too much

Dead Set -- if you haven't seen this British mini-series, then do it now. It's the shit.

You're thinking Land of the Dead w/ Dennis Hopper, but there was a Day of the Dead remake that sucked way worse than Land. It had Mena Suvari in it and was so awful I'd rather watch paint dry.

For anyone who cares and maybe hasn't seen it "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie" or more recently known as "The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue" is a pretty awesome 70's zombie flick. One of the forefathers of the twist ending.

Dead Set is fun during the first few episodes and it just gets depressing in the end. But I still love it.

Have you guys seen Stakeland? Though technically it's a vampire movie, the creatures are actually zombie-ish in nature. Incidentally, Kelly McGillis co-stars. And she's one of those actresses who didn't age gracefully.
