    Have Any Of You Ever Sued A Plumber Or Other Contractor?

    my girlfriend has had this guy out 8 times in the last month and my garbage disposal is still broken..

    this guy claims he is licensed, but i dont understand why he can't fix the problem..

    i am not home when he comes by and i think he might be trying to take advantage of the fact that my girlfriend doesnt know anything about plumbing...

    is there anyway i can sue this guy for fraud?

      Have you contacted the guy directly? Probably not worth going to court over. Try and settle things directly with him mano y mano. Is that doesn't work, kick him in the balls and run like hell.

                                      Without good documentation it would be very difficult to sue in small claims successfully, unless you can point to clear damages.

                                      Do you have documentation, photos of the work, anything like written estimates?

                                      Whats the problem that she wants solved? Some plumbing problems can be very tricky. And in older installations working on one thing can lead to a cascade of damages as other old problems get revealed or exacerbated.
