Any advise to improve this site: to get people to list ads? - GoFuckYourself.com

Hey there. I started a new site and well it is not doing to well. I was wondering how I could get conversions from people landing on this page to create listings.
Here is an example page:
http://worldupdated.com/Cities/Nice/Dating.html Basically it is listing adverts that people have posted in the city of Nice
Does anybody have any tips or tricks to improve?
Changes I made already
1)Placed the adding field directly on the page
2) Told the surfer what to do by writing "Click Here To Post Your Free Dating Add"

Well the site is not doing to well so really any advice on how to improve it would be appreciated - Sitewide aswell. Any aspects of the site.

thanks, maybe usernames pictures?
do you have any other advice? on what exactly you mean? because usernames pictures are the only things I can think of.

some honest feedback:

the site is bland looking, and it's empty. Clicking on Countries then USA and there's nothing there.

I'm not even sure what the point of the site is.

Yes keep the advice coming thanks. The more honest the better. Obviously it is designed to be user populated which is why there is little on the site. It is more information which is why I have kept it bland. Whether the right thing? Probably not by what you are saying. The point of the site is for users who are interested in a location to see classified ads or post them

Pick a city name that doesn't mean pleasant or agreeable to 99% of those that read it.

It looks very bland, almost like a parking page.

When I get there I do not know what the site is for unless I land on the main page.

There is no content i.e. existing ads, why should I take the time to write an ad if I suspect nobody will see it. Put up more fake ads until something gets going. Put some fake view counters on those ads

There are no features or anything that makes the page sticky and make me want to return.

users pics and videos on the home page works, you could also have a sidebar with polls, dating trends articles ect. and as above the site is kinda confusing when you land on it

Also it is a total usability clusterfuck. I tried submitting an ad and only after the 3rd time did I notice I was supposed to fill in the captcha. Then I landed on the Nice overview.

Also there is not contact field or hint that the people should add some way of contacting them.

I'd really consider using a wordpress theme package for this.

Also Resturants.

What sort of theme packages are on offer for something like this? Where users can add posts for example?

There are many more premium theme providers who might have specifically what you are looking for.

These are some quite elaborate themes, you can often use them for completely different things than what they are intended for with a little tweaking.

What does google think of it currently?

Maybe just play around with your choice of cms theme on a different domain and see if it fits your needs before doing anything else.

I do not know what past experience you have with wordpress other than standard blogs but you might fall in love. Worse that can happen is that you spend about 100 dollars. Some theme providers even have a no questions asked 30 day money back offer.
