If you were with Lancelot Security in 2002, have you gotten your 1099 from them yet?
Aren't they required by law to mail them out by 1/31/03? |

I was with them. I have not received my 1099.
Yes, they are required by law to send it out by Jan 31st. No telling if they actually will. Anyone know what to do if they don't? |

If you should get a 1099 from them, I'll bet you they will lie their ass off and include the monies from 8/15/02-9/9/02 that the webmasters never got.

I don't think the IRS would be as happy with a note explaining why I don't think I should have to pay taxes on a chunk of money listed on a 1099 as they would be with a note explaining that I was paying extra for money that I never got a form for. |

technically you don't need a 1099 to report what you earned
matter of fact i don't believe any billing companies ever sent me a 1099 |

Yeah, I got mine too incredibly. I'm amazed they had their act together enough to do it. Now I have to go through MY figures to see if it agrees with theirs.

Per sign up companies normally send them out though. I don't use them for taxes either. If you get audited the IRS is going to want to see your bank statements, not your 1099's.
