last, a government that depends on borrowing 150 billion/month in order to meet obligations is destined to self destruct. It can self destruct now with a default, or self destruct when the debt is 25 trillion instead of 14 trillion.

pushing to increase the debt limit is nothing but kicking the can down the road. Sadly, both parties are putting out proposals that barely begin to tackle the deficit. The pols expect the economy to magically recover from their own globalist policies that killed the middle class.

The economy deserves a train wreck. its prospect for growth is now dependent on government spending to maintain the economy, instead of actually growing business. A handful of multinationals are growing. They grow overseas business & jobs while firing US workers. the rest of the economy is teetering along, 110% leveraged out by wall street. The street now owns all of america & we work to support wall street instead of the other way around.

All you people supporting this form of corporate enslavment, you are the establishment thinkers, protecting the Matrix lest you get unplugged. Fuck em, kill the matrix & let it all crash.

      Default baby, default.

I also fell into thinking the TP was just a more militant wing of the republican party, but now see that once off their leash they'll run wild and barking at the republicans, - thanks for the ride.

In an odd way I actually respect that. Too bad about their Christian-right type of fundamentalists ideals and shit because I just might of threw support their way. They remind me of the old Ross Period supporters of the 90's who I voted for.
tea party is happening because its a revolt inside the republican party. Thats why they attack repubs, since it was the beltway repubs that blew out the budget & sold out america. Everybody is having a party at the governments expense. The dems party on big spending, getting kickbacks from unions. The repubs party on tax cuts, giving hedge fund traders lower tax rates then the working class, getting the kickbacks through lobbyists.

funny that you, jesus h christ, has an issue with jesus freaks.

You're spinning words, like it's not technically a war if he just sent a bunch of drones to blow up people in Pakistan, or he did build up the effort in Afghanistan, but Bush started it, so Obama is at no fault, pure spin
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
                  think about that

Please don't make me barf.. The average tea party member can't even write a protest sign with out misspelling half the words. They are just meat puppets that react to nothing but 30 second sound bites and typically don't have a clue as to what they are actually protesting about.

Wasn't Obama and the left going on about ending the war in Iraw so they could focus on the real place the war should be in Afghanistan?

No, I'm not spinning anything.... it being a war or not, makes no difference, he did not set the policy for the wars, the budgets behind them, someone else did. It makes no difference if Obama shifted the focus, the same money was used, new policy was not created to fund it.

Again, we're talking about the chart BFT3K posted, which is titled: "Policy Changes Under Two Presidents" and represents the costs/projections of policies each President started.

                        Here's the chart:

Your hate blinds you so much.... it's pathetic, sad, and a disgrace.

Yep, that's what he campaigned on.. well, actually it was to pull combat troops out of Iraq and focus them in Afghan to get the bad guy, which is exactly what he did.

Personally, I would rather they put a plan through that will pass, the first time. Rather than band standing around, pretending like they did something, to make talking point memos fire up, when they know damn well it was total shit.

Regardless of whether you and your liberal pundits don't like the plans that the Republicans put out, at least they put out a plan on paper for people to actually analyze. The Democrats, with only 4 days left, STILL HAVE OUT NOTHING ON PAPER. It seems pretty clear that the reasoning behind this is PURELY political. They would rather have the Republicans put something out, then if they can persuade them to change it in a way that alienates the Republican base, that works for the Dem's, while in the meantime always being able to say to the Democratic base that it wasn't the Dem's fault that the plan had stuff the Dem's didn't like in it, since it is a "Republican" plan.

So please get off the high and mighty horse, you Dem's out there. Your party is MUCH more interested in the politics of this situation than they are in putting out a real plan to fix it.

If not, then you are saying if Bush did not start the war, Obama would of not done it either?

it should be clean bill like 17 times it was done for Reagan or the 7 times for bush. Your party is the one playing games and in fact John Boehner said the tea party house members are hoping to go past the august 2 deadline and that in the caos they will get balanced budget amendment. Yeah they are playing dangerous games.
