From "On Through the Night" until "Retroactive".

Agreed!

I wasn't big on the Cult or the Ramones, but loved the hell out of Queen....(I know, not exactly in the same boat, but at least on the same ocean)

What about Billy Joel? (*wince*)

And there was this little band in the 70s called Grand Funk Railroad, anybody liked them?

Fletch XXX 01-28-2003 06:40 PM

Rip 01-28-2003 06:44 PM

best song of the 70's stairway to heaven
best album of the 70's dark side of the moon

Tala 01-28-2003 06:47 PM

Ozzy Osbourne "Mr.Crowley" is good, I love the beginning of it.

"Crazy Train" also has a cool beginning, but I don't like the way it turns into a more-upbeat tune. (at least to my ears. If it's gonna start hard, keep it hard...words to live by, ladies :Graucho )

I love music. I was given my first piano lesson at age 7, and so have been playing for 20 years...(oh god, I feel old now)

Started playing drums at age 13, had more fun that way. And yes, I heard all the cool musician jokes....

Am working in voice and clarity at the moment, at least I can carry a tune. :)

Anyone like Fleetwood Mac?

Dear God, Stevie Nicks.....

70's early 80's were fun, sitting in the basement, then first apartment:) 4 big ass speakers, bong, and tunes
:thumbsup

"What can this strange device be?
When I touch it, it gives forth a sound
It's got wires that vibrate and give music
What can this thing be that I found?

See how it sings like a sad heart
And joyously screams out its pain
Sounds that build high like a mountain
Or notes that fall gently like rain.

I can't wait to share this new wonder
The people will all see its light
Let them all make their own music
The Priests praise my name on this night.
