I don't care about Dems/Repubs. When does it all stop? When do we have a balanced budget requirement? When do we start getting this shit under control?

Well its like the average household. Cost of everything increases but working wages do not, if anything they are decreasing. People are buying groceries on credit because the increased cost of living in no way keeps up with what they are making. I am no political pro, just an average guy and thats how i see it.

Well... that was entertaining. Not sure what planet you live on where people are taking out bank loans to buy groceries because they can't afford groceries. It would seem obvious to anyone who could add and subtract that if you have to use credit to buy something every few days because you can't afford that thing... then you also can't afford to pay the loans back either.

Not sure why you think any of that has anything to do with government continually spending in a manner that dramatically outpaces revenue and revenue growth.

Why is so hard for you to understand if we have to continually borrow more credit to feed old/poor people when we don't have it now, is just a system of a much greater problem down the road? Besides, our current government thinks it's more important to make bullets with the money.

if the US wasn't fighting useless wars and had a 1 billion per year defense budget, that would go a long way in fixing current problems. its all corrupt and doesn't serve the people in any way, shape or form any more. do i want to see friends and loved ones die to "fix" some kind of problem i didn't have any real role in creating? no. the debt is just "made up" more or less. it doesn't exist in actual money. its all a stupid game that the average person will end up paying for, in many cases, with their lives. and for what? raise the debt limit to infinity. does it really make a difference? it will never be paid back at what it is, or what it was.

Are you really this much of a child? The debt is real. It is real money. It's packaged and sold in many forms to investors. It has to be paid back with interest. It does matter. Defaulting on interest payments would be catastrophic both to the US economy and global economy.

Are you serious? I understand you're talking about Government debt, but this trickles down via taxes and inflation to people with "real" debt that if not paid become jobless/homeless. Like right now. You do understand they want the money NOT for primary social programs, but to feed the military because if they cut back that money, millions come home unemployed to a job market with NO jobs.

They don't have a real solution accept temporary disaster prevention. It's got to stop sometime and although, I'd never thought I'd ever lean republican, it's a must to just get it over with and start fresh or make drastic cuts to save what little we have left.

The very idea that wealthy people and corps create jobs when they pay no taxes is utter bullshit. The very idea that letting Bush tax cuts expire as designed by Bush is a tax increase is utter bullshit. Yet media outlets let them do it constantly because they're pussies with no backbones.

They would say that giving a corp zero taxes so they dont move that plant to Mexico is "creating jobs". But they'll say that allowing a tax cut expire that has failed on every single promise is "raising taxes". Apparently they are non-patriotic cock suckers because while wealthy people would be fine with paying the rate they used to pay to help lift the country, the GOP mouthpieces pretend it would ruin the world.

Until we decide that it's important to provide good public education instead of the miserable failure we have now, I dont see how the US is going to create enough intelligent people to make informed choices even if they watched the news 24/7. What are our schools now? They're secured locations where job 1 is to not tolerate anything against the rules. Fuck, they just change your test scores to passing even when you fail because of "no childs test score left too low" (humorously called No Child Left Behind because the point is to never let a child fail or you might lose your funding).
