The Party of "NO" is Destroying America

Here's how many Republican Senators voted to raise the debt ceiling each time it came up for a vote since 1997.

    1997: 55
    2002: 31
    2003: 50
    2004: 50
    2006: 51
    2007: 26
    2008: 34
    2008: 33

    Then Obama was elected.

    2009: 2
    2009: 1
    2010: 0

Basically ANYTHING Obama is for - even when it was previously a GOP idea - gets voted down!

We are experiencing the worst obstructionist politics in our lifetime, and yet there are still dimwits out there, willing to vote Republican in the next election.

    IDIOTS!

A little more heat in the northeast, and a possible election of a brain-dead tea bagger nitwit in 2012, and I may be headed your way!

Obama could save a drowning nun and there would be those who say he's gone against gods will. Been saying it since inauguration day.

The very idea that wealthy people and corps create jobs when they pay no taxes is utter bullshit. The very idea that letting Bush tax cuts expire as designed by Bush is a tax increase is utter bullshit. Yet media outlets let them do it constantly because they're pussies with no backbones.

They would say that giving a corp zero taxes so they dont move that plant to Mexico is "creating jobs". But they'll say that allowing a tax cut expire that has failed on every single promise is "raising taxes". Apparently they are non-patriotic cock suckers because while wealthy people would be fine with paying the rate they used to pay to help lift the country, the GOP mouthpieces pretend it would ruin the world.

Until we decide that it's important to provide good public education instead of the miserable failure we have now, I dont see how the US is going to create enough intelligent people to make informed choices even if they watched the news 24/7. What are our schools now? They're secured locations where job 1 is to not tolerate anything against the rules. Fuck, they just change your test scores to passing even when you fail because of "no childs test score left too low" (humorously called No Child Left Behind because the point is to never let a child fail or you might lose your funding).

Wake the fuck up and pay attention or you deserve what you get. These pussies pretended they were voted in to create jobs and they created NOTHING but opposition to every attempt to move the country forward. Country first? More like Fuck the Country. Thats the GOP motto in 2011: "FUCK you. Pay us or we'll trash this dump"

okee doke. My break time over.

Do you boys that constantly bash and insult others political beliefs ever think about how it affects the programs you carry in your signatures...and then how much money you are leaving on the table because of it?

Without Bft3k's daily idiotic and simple minded diatribes about how he hates the right while pretending to be objective or even having a clue about what's going on, how else are the gfi residents going to get their laughs?

The problem is everyone pushing agendas that benefit them personally. Fuck everyone who does that. First concern should be for a strong vibrant country. A strong overall country will benefit everyone.

It makes me wonder at what these fellows are thinking. This might be a place to fuck around...etc. But it's business first. Always. No exceptions.
I can guarantee that their remarks are costing them money. The only gray area is,how much?

The idea that your average gfy member has any common sense is ludicrous. I respect the opinion of people like joshgirls, wig, Kane and a few others but the rest make me laugh and sympathetic for the human race at the same time.

                        you should change your nic...

every time i see PR, i think you are that other clown and start to skip over your posts (which are usually very good).

anywho, the problem is that corporations are controlling the media through advertising and that is never a good mix..

the corporations would like people to believe that tax cuts create jobs when in fact corporations are enjoying some of best productivity rates ever. people are worried about losing what jobs are left, so they are working harder than ever and for less pay..

i am for tax cuts just like the next guy, but this country is not going to make it in the short term without raising taxes..

in the long term we need to scrap our current govt policies and rebuild them...

Agreed, it's business first. So why would a political commentary change that?

I shall inquire of my superiors if I should refrain from making any further political posts nevertheless. I'll abide by the decision too.
