    Are you smarter than a 12th grader?

    Only 25 percent of American students passed their geography test :

    The question about East African seemed more cultural than just plain geographical.
    I got the question correct only by thinking about the culture so I don't think
    that proves I know the geography of East Africa.

                                      100% but I gotta admit the last one (the lakes one) was luck, really didn't know it. Besides, I don't know if that question is something every student in US would know, it looks too micro-regional for me (and of course no idea, as I said)

                                              Honestly thats the only one I was 100% sure on. Partly because I can't even remember what the other questions were.

                                                  Last time I did any geography was the 7th grade, I think some of the answers have changed since then
                                                  Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

                                                      The South America one was the one I was about to get right, then changed my mind. I got the others. For the great lakes, I just figured that air coming from the north in December would probably be cold.

                                                      I was a little surprised actually. I've totally focused on engineering and some economics, so I thought I might crash and burn on geography.

                                                                                              lol, I got 100% on all 3 tests, but the 4th grade last question, almost got me... I had to actually stop and think on that one. Fun tests... history and geography was my thang, hard not to be when your dad is a history major.
