How Do New Cam Sites Get Models?

How did myfreecams and other cam sites start from having 0 cam models to thousands? How do you get them in the first place, you have to start somewhere. Is there a service they pay for etc?

If you don't have a way or at least a plan to get camgirls then it probably isn't a good idea to think about launching a site.

There will of course be people saying "contact me, I can refer you some (for a fee)" and they probably can, but reality is that you will only retain these girls as long as they are making money, so you will either need to pay them a base salary, seed the site with money yourself, or make sure you have spending traffic from day one.

Building a site from scratch is not as easy as some people make it out to be which is why most new sites end up failing, but it can be done if you are smart, lucky or rich or (preferably all three of those).... so good luck.

What Lagcam says is exactly correct, every last word of it... Most people think they can buy a software package, buy some traffic, and models will come by the droves, and they will then have to open an offshore account.

The truth is that they are dreamers, bought traffic is generally is very poor so you spend fortune with no conversion.

You want models, well they have to make money, you have compete with what they can make elsewhere.

If you would like some help contact me, NO FEE, if you want models well like I said they have to make money and like the site.

It is a symbiotic relationship of customers and models -- you need both to succeed.

                      • Pay models more than others
                      • Pay affiliates to sign up models/studios
                      • Have a good contract for studios (models can't sign up for 12 months after they leave)

paying higher % makes no difference, cause if you don't have enough paying members, it won't matter if they get 70% or 30% from the $10 they make.
There are sites who pay 0,11 EUR/min and there are still a lot of girls on the site, because they have privates all the time.
So finding paying members is the hardest task here.
If anyone can help ME with that, i'd appreciate it

hire models, hire cam studios., give them $$ upfront or bonus %
buy quality traffic if you dont have already, get webmasters, give them good promo tools and good % then you are good to go.

The cam site needs not to worry about the models, just the Traffic & the platform

I don't know which one is harder these days... The cam site or the cam studio.

Finding models to work in the studios can be difficult, with many amateur cam sites like chaturbate, a lot of models are happy to earn a few pounds from their own homes, rather than working on site location with bright lights, high broadband & quality video. Working from a studio location has many valid pros, log on & cam, the set up & pre cam work has already been done for the model. Afterwards, sign out & go home, I suppose similar to the pros of having a 9-5 job & none of the headaches

Cam sites don't really need to worry about the models, as the studios & models shall sign up & work from any cam site that had quality traffic & an easy to use platform to work from.
Where there's traffic there are workers, Both a model & studio need viewers & both the model & studio need the platform to be simple, so the login is easy & to use the system is straight forward

From a studio point of view, it would be a new or good idea, a cam platform with choices of camera angles, each cam room would have several cameras, the viewer can choose which camera to view from, close up, distant above & side on.... Just an idea for a new style cam site that I would sign up our models too immediately

This is very hard. But from what I understand you leave a trail of bread crumbs to a house made of candy and cookies, When they start to eat the house, you bash them in the head and they wake up naked in front of a cam.

It's just hard to find quality and reliable people to do porn in general, but persistence pays off.

Looks like I need to start out promoting a smaller cam site "White Label" and focus on traffic. Once I have the traffic up to the point where I'm converting then gradually work my way into my own site.

Amazing how many clowns think they can set up a cam site and don't even know the most basic, fundamental things. Even most people who do know how to start and run a cam site couldn't do it successfully.

Sure, send traffic to a site with no performers. No worries.

Any "model" who works at a "studio", rather than at home where they get to keep 100% of the monies they make, is a complete fucking moron. Fortunately for "studios", most "models" are complete fucking morons.

Performers & studios are not going to work for a site that has no traffic...

Using other camsite hubs is probably best to start, while the traffic builds up. You have to do it the right way

? In a studio, the model walks in to work on cam, no need to pre book the show & let her usual & especially high spenders know when she is online as the studio does this for her...

What's wrong with losing maybe 10% of $300 for a few hours work considering she can have bright lights, fantastic quality connections & a damn good cam, she shall make more working in a studio than she could from her home.

Most models are not morons, some webmasters are though

Indeed they are, today Natalie & I made about £50 in half hour after taking camsite fees , we continued & still the sales converted.

Our lighting is bright, our cameras are hd, top of the range & our broadband connections are 5mb upstream, creating a perfect picture for the viewer to watch on huge 50inch screens.

We also have the main studio that the cam models can use for photo & film, personal or business with us or not.

Many reasons for cam models to use a studio

First, studios don't take 10%. If that is your plan, then "LOL". Second, what makes you think girls don't have lights at home? What do you imagine is preventing a performer getting a broadband connection and a "damn good cam" herself?

Of course models can do it alone, similar to anyone can fly a plane or become a model, any guy can get on camera & probably make quite a bit of money doing gay cam....

Bright lights, that costs, whether for the lamps or the electric, cams can go wrong as can pcs, so you're talking about cost outlay for a small rental fee to a studio.

Also do models have time, let's not forget time is money, especially messing about sending mail, posting photos from previous camshows, making sure their connections work correct & much more! We, as a studio, do this for our models, we promote them, so they walk into their booth & login, clients ready to pay them an income. Paying 10% is nothing for this to have this done for them. They have no worries of pc errors, costs & other outlays, again we sort this & yes, 10% is little for them & is enough for us considering this can be anywhere from $10 per hour per booth, we have 3 at the moment... Our studio has other incomes, but with figures of $700 a day when our studio settles in, I think we should be happy with a 7day a week viewing.

If you are to argue, a model wouldn't pay someone for this part of the job, my next question would be, you do everything yourself for your business? You don't use designers, content providers or programs owners... Why not make your own content & then spend every moment of every day selling it instead of using affiliates.

We all find ourselves using a service that makes our careers easier & when a model knows, for just $40 out of her $400 shift, the pre work can be done with none of the worries of computors going down or the electic & broadband paid, it is worth it, also considering our broadband lines are on business lines, they have 100% better care & uptime
