                          With rare exceptions like a concert DVD by my favorite punk rock band or something like that I never purchase movies. I just wait until they play on HBO, Showtime, Encore or Starz and watch them for free on my HDTV.

                              I only buy Blu Ray, or Blu Ray + Digital copy. The difference in image and sound quality is huge. If my favorite movie was on DVD only, I would wait for the Blu Ray version.

                              The Bluray format is also much better than any broadcast HD. Broadcast HD is over compressed.
