They buy houses they can't afford, they never save anything, they overextend on all credit cards, and they generally just ignore reality completely - playing online, and staring at their phones and great big HD TVs, all made in China.

Some people like to pretend that Americans are lazy lowlifes but at the end of the day, we lent most of the money the government owes. Not China or any other broke country.

China has its own issues right now. Don't get it twisted, without the US the world economy collapses and it will be that way for at least decades to come.

They use it to pay interest on the huge amounts they keep borrowing

Fuel isn't subsidized for us - it includes taxes to buy roads, taxes for some other shit and some more taxes. The subsidies are in china. They drive the demand up by using more than they can possibly afford. Then the clowns on the floor drive the oil prices up even more with speculation and all of that shit.

The money they borrow on our behalf goes to what they want. Not to us.

You're right though, it is our fault, the people in the states let this all happen and now it's too late. Why do I have to go down with all of the normal people?

The plan is to get people into debt so as you can make them into wage slaves paying off debt, they want you to work as much as possible and never have enough money to live without working. With the IMF it's about taking assets from countries when they cannot pay. This is not an accident, it is by design, it is debt warfare.
