Bubble Girls Feed, anyone else think they suck ? - GoFuckYourself.com

I have personally had it with Bubble Girls Feed.

They have removed hundreds of photo's & video from
their feed, they NEVER update as they state and they
constantly lock my members our with their shitty tracking
system.

In addition, they NEVER return emails.

Does anyone else have these issues with them ?

I know we have lost several members because of
them alone.

the content itself is great, probably top three third party things you can put in a paysite. But the other stuff you're talking about isn't good - i've heard that the guy who does their video encoding web monkey stuff had a death in the family or some crisis and that's why the updates have sucked....um.......that is ridiculous, they could find a hundred people on webmaster boards looking for some extra work for not much money.

if you think BubbleGirls poor performance is costing you members it does show that the content itself is worth the price if it's being maintained the way it should be.

I have had the feed for years.. Its pretty nice

But they are terrible with the updates thats for sure

They have sucked for a year now, I have kept them
only because die hard members like them.

But I am at the end of that rope.

They removed like 2 full years of past content.

There is a reason why Python dumped them years
ago.

it may have rocked when Python was selling it but there's got to be a reason why it's no longer sold by them. My guess is that BG didn't feel it was getting a big enough cut or weren't getting accurate reporting.

once you let your content out to a third party including brokers you have little control. Unless you're getting paid big money up front stay away, sink some of your own money into it and do it yourself.

I imagine the reason they cut back on the pics and vids is due to the HEAVY bandwidth costs involved in hosting Bubble girls.

no doubt BG eats up a huge amount of bw but that's why on any almost all plugins you lease in the fine print there is language covering overage charges.

Webmasters get scared away from leasing a feed if you tell them they're going to be billed 10 per gig, they envision possible huge bills, so most content providers figure out some base prices based on membership numbers.

i don't have a paysite so i don't know in what % of cases that people are billed for overage bandwidth.

Anybody here get charged bandwidth overages by any of the feed suppliers?

Bandwidth is so cheap these days, it's almost free.

Bandwidth is hella cheap these days, especially if you do any sort of volume.

I'm sure they could just change the billing model to cover the increased BW costs, or go to per gig billing.

But to change the quantity of content and the frequency of updates you offer to the people leasing your feed seems like a breach to me.
They bought the feed based on the quality/quantity of content and the frequency of updates. Now they're still paying the same price but getting less for their money.
