...today. A long...long...time friend called and let me know that his cancer is in remission. The last time we had talked he called to say good bye as he thought he may be on his way out. Some kind of new drug has apparently worked for him.

Always good news when another person beats the big C. My brother's wife beat it about 6 years ago, but just recently found out she had more tumors in her abdomen. Those tumors were removed just this past week and she is recovering nicely.
