From my own experiences, I would go for the Asus machine. From what I have experienced myself and heard from other Asus owners, Asus is just totally solid. I have had Acer´s before and was NOT happy with them. Also, in my country Acer support sucks big time.

all have 8gb of ram (except toshiba so thats out)
asus has older graphics card (so thats out)
toss up between acer and alienware

The various assemblers pretty much use the same parts. None of those brands make their own memory, hard drives, displays etc. so the brand on the outside of the box doesn't tell you anything useful.
