    PR 2 - So fucking what

    I'm not noticing many changes now that one of my sites is a page rank 2. Maybe a little more organic but thats it. Anyone know which page ranks will yield more signups/traffic? Does the PR even matter?

      Not really - I believe google has/is discontinueing such rating system.

          PR has no relevance when it comes to traffic, they don't really have anything to do with each other

          I have a PR4 mainstream site that has been PR4 for years now and it gets maybe 100 visitors a day at the most

              I don't waste even one second trying to raise my PR.

              I never thought it mattered.

              And I always thought it was a terrible way to determine the importance of
              a webpage. I mean, 1 million people will link back to a pic of dog shit because it's
              funny, but how important is that shit?

                  pr is shit.,

                  my site was pr0 previously getting lots of traffic., and most of my sites got pr2 and traffic dropped.

                          PR is based on a sliding scale and has many points between...

                          So your site has been moving from:

                          0.00 to 0.01 to 0.02 to ... 0.89 to ... 0.99 to 1.00 to 1.01... and so on...

                          So as the PR is moving up their is no level bonus that would be noticeable...

                          Of course PR doesn't equate to anything on its own and is part of a much larger calculation.

                                  Pr doesn't really seem to count for shit. I had a few increase in pr with this last update, and none of them gained in traffic from google. A couple did show small decreases. Only thing pr seems to be good for is for attracting link trades with people that think it matters.

                                                  Stop wasting your time with PR...

                                                  You could use that time in trying to get more traffic or adding quality content to your sites.
