unfortunately, I've found moving is the only way that really works well, any long term relationship I've been in ended up me having to move somewhere to get away, the more you want to get rid of a woman the more they cling on and make things difficult

I am agreeing to going to counseling with her on the basis that counseling serves a dual purpose:
1) (for her) see if there's anything that there can be done to have a happy, long term relationship for both of us
2) (for me) if 1 fails, then facilitate the cleanest break-up possible
