    Friends.. a good example of my home town.. before/after.

    As those who I'm close to know, I'm from Joplin, MO., where the EF-5 tornado hit about 6 weeks ago. About 50%(roughly) of my home town is completely gone.. neighborhoods I rode bikes in/skateboarded in... etc.. gone entirely.

    This is a video of a view down 20th Street in Joplin(one of the "main" roads) before and after the tornado. I can't express enough how this video does absolute zero justice..


    Some people know who you are, but thank you for checking on my family and myself in the hours and days after the storm. You will be repaid.

                      Holy crap you're from Joplin?!?! I am from Mac County....small world huh? I am actually going back home in a few weeks to see several friends I know that lost their homes up in Joplin. It was soo sad to see it all play out knowing sooo many people I know and love were being effected by it all.

                                          7 weeks ago I was the most anti-Joplin guy in Joplin.. just because I've been around the world and hung out with girls like the ones in my AV consistently.

                                          Now I'm a pro-Joplin mofo just from all of the goodwill, etc., that has occurred in the past few weeks. Couldn't be more proud.

                                              Missed my apartment by 2 1/2 blocks and office by about 1/2 block thankfully. I turned my apartment into a mini dorm for about a week for friends who lost everything.
