    webcams.at domain

    Hi all,

After lots of fun with Sedo (http://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=917490) a couple of years ago with a different cam name, I have put webcams.at up on eBay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...STRK:MESELX:IT

For those curious, in the end the buyer of camfun settled away from Sedo for $22.5k which was excellent.

I don't expect webcams.at to do as well, but do think it has legs for the future.

So anyway, the time is right, I need to flog off some stuff and there you go. Cheers!

Congrats on camfun, 22.5 is a decent catch for that. Are you the original owner of webcams.at?

Nope, 2nd owner as far as I know. The original guy had a cams directory on there from 1998 I think. The good old days! I've had it since 2003 (might be 2002, can't remember).

Interesting, didn't realize the .at extension was that old.

As old as Austria's Internet presence I guess!

It's looking like perhaps eBay wasn't the place to sell it,

but nothing ventured nothing gained. No harm done seeing as you will still have the domain (unless there is a big sniping war in the last minute), so you can examine your other options

Good luck. Might be actually worth the investment, but never really dug deep into the aussie market myself.

It's a good test for that market but I agree eBay probably isn't where the right eyeballs are, but I fell out with Sedo (and they wrongly think I owe them money) so no go there.

There's a few watchers, so will be interesting to see what happens.

Try to sell it to the Manwin crew, since they already own webcams.com it might be a nice addition to their brand.
