I replaced my ICQ with skype over 4 years ago now ... I sent out a mass broadcast to all my ICQ clients stating that I had lost all confidence in ICQ after being hacked, and for my own security, and the security of my clients, I would only be available on Skype (and of course email and 1-800 phone number) ...
I have not opened ICQ in over 4 years, and I do not miss it one bit ...

I have one problem with Skype, if I send a message to someone that are not online they do not get it until we are both online at the same time.
ICQ delivers offline messages half the time when the recipient gets online and sadly thats to prefer over Skypes option.Truth TellerComment
