Looks like this release will come out monday.

Interesting note, I was speaking to one of the core developers, he guesses around 1 million self hosted wordpress sites will be effected by the new requirements (aka hosts not up to date and still running PHP 4, and old MYSQL.

Im currently running 3.2 RC3, backend looks much better.

That's a little different.... Not to mention WordPress just put out 3.1.4. They need to quit it with the pump n dump updates, it's a crock of shit. If you like updating all your sites twice a week, be my guest.

And I don't use it anywhere it's possible not to.

People who moan about updating, you know you don't have to update don't you?

I still have a few blogs running 2.7 just because certain plugins on them sites weren't updated after that release etc.

Never had any problems either.
