Regarding ICM Registry, dot XXX ... we proudly represented their brand then, at the height of this industry's hypocrisy. I may be absolutely wrong here, as its been so long ago, but I dont remember actually charging them anything for it. It was at the Ynot Summit in San Francisco, formerly Cybernet Expo run by LAJ and his partner.

Same as with tubes. At first people hated (justified), but then there was no other option as to accept their traffic/cash. That does not prove tubes were/are a good thing.
