history lesson for copyright holders wanting new legislation to protect them

And sure, Parliament agreed in its time that the stagecoach and railroad industries were important. But Parliament made the mistake of seeing yesterday as the present time and eternal: those industries were only important before the technology shift that the car brought, a shift which was already underway. The special laws that these industries pushed through ? with emphasis on the Red Flag Act ? caused the inevitable technology shift to delay in United Kingdom, and therefore, the car industry of the United Kingdom lost considerable competitive edge against its foreign competition, being ten to fifteen years late into the game.

don't agree with the final arguement
death is not the only option
you could change to the new medium like mpaa did with the vcr

Content theft has nothing to do with stagecoaches, railroads or cars.

    Nice try though.

Maybe the answer to content theft is growing more oranges. I'm going to go and write an article about that now.

A Sunday just isn't a Sunday without Gideon trying to further his agenda.

As always, good luck with it.

I prefer this article from TF recently.

            http://torrentfreak.com/site-admin-t...ywords-110624/

The administrator of a file-sharing related site has seen his sentence upheld by the Court of Appeal. The man, who was arrested back in 2007, operated a site which didn’t offer links but provided users with hints on keywords which would help them find movies and TV shows. He has received a one year suspended sentence, fined 3,000 euros and ordered to pay 130,000 euros ($185,000) in damages.

                  Incorrect.

If you watch the, "Back to the Future", trilogy on your VCR you will see that Dr Brown built a time machine out of a DeLorean (car) and 'time shifted' back to the era of rail roads and stage coaches.

                        i am pro fair use

i don't support piracy in any way shape or form

                        as i have repeatedly said

go after the leachers who don't have a fair use right to the content
                        leave everyone else alone.
