To not feel the courts are bias is wrong. From race to gender - judges do make judgments unfairly at times.Comment

Oh shut the fuck up.
A crackhead committed armed robbery, turned himself in and then pleaded guilty.
A judge who sees 250 cases a day isn't responsible to determine the morale of this one dumbass crackhead.
PRO-TIP, want to stay on the 'lucky' side of the law? Don't fucking smoke crack then knowingly commit a felony that has a serious minimum sentence, turn yourself in then plead guilty in court.
Bunch of hippie turds in this thread crying a river for a crackhead with a story who would've likely went out and done it again had the judge set him free.┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

That's a cute comment, and your reason for that statement?
Crimes that don't pay are felonies you knowingly commit for $100, turn yourself in for, then plead guilty to. Our justice system doesn't involve a judge listening to a crackhead's story about how or why he robbed a bank. People need to drop the tabloid and get a grip on reality.
With an armed robbery conviction there is a minimum sentence, and that's all there is to it. The hippies can cry about how it's not 'fair' in relevance to a completely unrelated story all they want.
It's not about whether or not white collar crimes pay. I'm not going to debate what crimes pay in relevance to what this career criminal crackhead committed for $100, because that's "so far off it's not even funny".

And if you have an opportunity scam people out of billions go for it cause it's not likely you'll ever stand before a judge and even if you do, you're looking at 30 months in a "country club" jail max.Comment

hahaha.
Hey, no one said life was fair.
Survival of the fittest. Dumb uneducated crackhead living on the street vs educated CEO of one of the nation?s largest lenders.┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

Oh, and FYI, there is more to this story than this cute little chain-mail pic going around.
“Mr. Allen’s sentence reflects his ultimate cooperation with this investigation, but also sends the message that unless executives expose and stop fraud when they first learn of it, they will be punished,” said Neil MacBride, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Farkas is to be sentenced next week, and prosecutors have indicated they will seek a significantly longer sentence for Farkas than for his co-conspirators."
He's a co-conspirator and not the only one responsible.
edit: here's a link for all the bleeding hearts out there.
