i know what u are saying about not wanting to stray from the affiliate and cms software realm (like your competitor) but tubes do have their place. web surfers (mainstream and adult) want to watch videos on tubes, and that can't be ignored. some day there may only be tubes and no one will bother downloading. no one downloads to their tablets or phones. the world is moving to streaming only.

There are many good tube scripts out there and we would love to be integrated with all of them, if possible. We all know that legal tubes are here to stay. We are not ignoring that fact. Many of our clients are using the capabilities of our CMS to have their own tube "tours". We have been asked to create tubes that also can take on uploaded videos by members - which we do not agree on from the simple fact that it is the driving force of piracy. That said, legal tubes are fine and we integrate MPA3 to work with those when asked.

As far as I see, WP keeps holding a 2nd place so far and that's good. I never ever seen any other script which is so easy in use, flexible, extendable, powerful and Google-friendly as WordPress especially if it's used as a tube engine :thumbsup

i've tried a couple of the cheaper options such as using WP and some cheap tube scripts but my fav by far is tubex which i use on http://www.tu8e.com its a pity that the owner of jmbsoft seems to have retired.

Wordpress is the best solution for getting started and SEO purposes. With wordpress and decent tube theme you can get some really nice results.:thumbsup

MechBunny all the way, I just tested Kernel Video... it looks fine, plenty of options most of people wouldn't ever use, however for this price as a single licence I still prefer MechBunny for $1300 for unlimited number of websites and great support.

For no hassle auto vid grab. Automagick is the winner. For hosting type I like avs .
