The end of the shuttle program is going to kill the east coast of central Florida. I used to live there and there are shitloads of big & small business that revolved around NASA and contracts
from the space program, that was the industry there. Melbourne, FL was called silicon beach because it was the the number two to high tech industry behind the famous silicon valley of Cali. It was all there because of the space programs and now once they end that place is gonna be in some shit. |
