MOST Australian internet users will have their web access censored next month after the country's two largest internet providers agreed to voluntarily block more than 500 websites from view.
All users of that service provider should and some probably will move to another service provider?
But then they are stating CP and Child Abuse sites?
It starts with where people agree. Censorship gets bolder as it progresses like a cancer.
Wouldnt it be more justifiable to arrest people that operate CP sites and child abuse sites? And logical?
Especially when the authorities know what them sites do?
Interesting to say the least. It's a good excuse to begin Censorship and the governments of the world are starting the experiment.
Today the deal between the NBN and Telstra was signed to hand over the copper network to the NBN so it could be decommissioned and replaced by the FTH network.
Optus has made a deal to decommission the HFC network and move customers to the NBN.
Then this news report comes, I wonder if this was part of the deal.
Keep in mind though, as things stand now many Australians use other ISP's such as Internode, TPG and iiNet for their net access and will be unaffected by this voluntary filter.
rudd, gillard, conroy and co, why anyone would have voted this lot in, is beyond me..... the amount of money these puckers have wasted is beyond a joke, school halls, pink bats, stopping the boats, the list goes on, now the filter, give em an inch and they will take a mile. Oh and the carbon tax is another one, really... what did she say before she was elected, and then she was only just elected, "there will not be a carbon tax under a government i lead"... and what has she done.
