Below are the details of what happened... including emails...

Any and all content buyers beware, beware of doing any business with the companies listed above.
On May 6, 2011, after weeks of negotiating, a cashiers check for $22,800 issued from Bank of America was sent to DWWE for the purchase of HD video content.
The check was received on May 7, 2011 and deposited into an account at Chase Bank by DWWE. Then the company notifies us by email that the cashiers check from BofA will take 11 days to clear. Bank of America states that is a fabrication, that the longest a cashiers check could take to clear is up to 72 hours unless the beneficiary account is not in good standing. Nevertheless, for our part, the check cleared within 72 hours.

We accepted the story as strange, but went ahead and stayed the course and moved to complete the transaction by wiring the balance of $16,080 to the DWWE bank account located at BB&T bank in Plantation, FL. The wire was completed on May 16.

We just had the big trade show here, as I said the a portion of the content would be going out in three days. Normally that would have been today but with the trade show and all things got delayed. I will find out today how many scenes are going out today and it will go out tomorrow.

We have a MAJOR probelm here. Late Thursday, our account was put on hold by our bank. On Friday I found out why. Apparently they are looking into the wire you sent us, apparently there is some sort of issue with your company that our bank has. Thsi doesn't come from me, this comes from BB&T.
I was afaraid of this which is why I wanted to start off smaller wiht you AND did'nt wish to start off with a wire transfer from you.
Especially since this happened to another company that I know of and the issue was a major wire fraud issue from the sending company.
I wasn't given all the details apparently I will be receiving a letter from the bank giving details about the situation today or tomorrow, but I was informed that it stems from the wire we received from you.
Whether you believe me or not is not my issue right now, I was informed by my bank that they can have a noticed sent to you as well if I request it and have someone get in touch with you about the situation.
I will get back back to you hopefully late today but should be no later than tomorrow about what our next step is depending on what I am informed about you guys in the noticed I am to receive by BB&t's head office.

First thing we did was call BofA, their reply was ?If there was any problem with a wire or an account, we?d be notified, and we have not been notified of anything. Secondly, if a wire or an account is suspect of fraud, a hold would be placed and the issuing bank notified within 24 hours. Never in the history of any financial institution has a wire been deemed suspicious and an account frozen after having said funds for a period of three weeks? Further, that same week we sent out close to 40 wires as we have done weekly for over 5 years. BofA said the only possible problem could have been is if his account is in poor standing they could have held the check, however that would not have had any effect on us getting our content.
Needless to say today is now June 21 and now 45 days after sending this coward the money ? not one delivery of the content, nothing. Now all we get from this CJ character are more excuses like ?waiting on advice of counsel?.
We?ve asked for the content, we?ve asked for a refund?. And instead he says he?s being advised by counsel and that our counsel should speak directly to his. He?s been contacted by phone and email from our counsel and thus far has not produced the name or number of his attorney.
We finally contacted the Plantation Police department today and will start the process of filing criminal complaint for wire fraud, bank fraud, mail fraud, theft by deception and felony theft over $10,000.
Worst part of this is we?ve given this conman every opportunity to make good and just deliver the content or refund the money. And in every case, he just gets belligerent and combative and won?t budge.
So to anyone buying content, beware of this thief. Below you will find all of his details, so you can avoid this happening to you.
