    New FDA cigarette warning labels in the USA

      I am glad the government is so concerned about our health.

      I mean considering the amount of drugs they are legalizing and the food we eat being approved all the while letting health insurance eat everyone the fuck alive with bullshit costs... Everyday you drive your car and in traffic more than an hour you are smoking the equivalent of nearly a half pack of smokes per day. If you live in a major city you are already breathing more than a pack a day.

      I am so glad they think they are doing the right thing by saying smoking is bad for health.

              My grandfather smoked till the day he died at the ripe age of 78. Cause of death...

              Liver Failure from alcohol.
              My grandmother on my fathers side never smoked a pack a day in her life died of lung cancer.
              My Grandmother on my mothers side smoked a pack a day till her death at 86 cause of death... Breast Cancer.

                  I agree with the first half.. the traffic and air quality thing is ridiculously exaggerated though.

                          BTW if it wasnt for corporate greed in America of putting more harmful and addictive chemicals into cigs, we wouldn't have this problem

                              They play the diseased organ anti-smoking commercials all the time around here. Having quit years ago now, they just gross me out and I turn the channel. Why don't you quit? It's not hard. Just stop buying them and stop bumming them and you're done.

                                      Smoking is not cool and will kill you.

                                      Smoking's health affects are long odds to beat. When you realize how you screwed yourself and realize you can't undue the damage done — it's a bit late.

                                      I haven't smoked 2 1/2 years now better late than never ...

                                      The new warning labels won't make a big difference unfortunately.

                                          All of the "my grandfather smoked 2 packs of unfiltered cigs per day and lived to 93" stories forget to add the fact that your grandparents smoked pure tobacco.

                                          I don't smoke, but if I did, I would only smoke 100% pure tobacco cigarettes.

                                          At least pot is 100% marijuana plant (for now anyway).

                                              Black Death Cigarettes - and they were BIG sellers!

                                              The new labels will likely do nothing.

                                              The idea that pot is illegal because it supposedly doesn't have any health benefits, but cigarettes and tobacco products are fine, is hypocrisy in its highest form.

                                                          I'm sure sales for creative cigarette cases will be going up soon.

                                                          People will just move their cancer sticks into easier to look at holders.

                                                                                  Its not $100/pack yet. Only $13.50 on avg in Manhattan.. Although at some of the hotels, are selling at like $16/pack. But they also rape the tourists. Should hit $15/pack by Jan 2012 at this rate. Sucks.

                                                                                  But I won't stop, because smoking is good for ya and ecigs annoy me.
