best comment on that article - "The day is coming when nobody will be able to get a RIM job anymore."

I'm gonna jump on HTC soon. I'm still using my old Sony Ericson....

read an article some time ago about how the blackberry is gaining popularity amongst teens (the heavy texting crowd).

Sure but if Apple comes out with a "decent" Iphone which has a keyboard like a BB, wont that instantly be the end of Blackberry?

I read up 16% from the same quarter last year, doesn't sound to bad! BB is ingrained in large corporates and will be for a long time yet.

Maybe, but when the contracts start ending and people keep moving to Android phones, we will see...

Glad I got my Sony X10 Xperia when I did instead of going BB or IPhone.

didnt they make like 700 million profit last quarter?

I had an HTC Thunderbolt and currently use and iPhone4, BUT I kinda miss my Blackberry Tour. Definitely NOT for web surfing, apps and multimedia. But, it was the best of those three at instantly sending/receiving messages and email and lasted 3 days easy on a charge. It was hard to miss anything.

Even with my push setting maxed out, I now occasionally miss a message or email on my fancy phones.
