Read the best SEO sources on Thin Content, Google is broadening the definitions and during 2012 Farmer/Panda will look like a picnic in the park.
learn what google wants from the serps, not seo "theory."

Do you guys read anything outside of GFY ?

If you haven't seen the torrent of comment and opinion about thin content and Google's intention to reduce the search footprint then there's nothing I can do to help you.

Start reading more broadly, read some of the authority sites about search, follow matt cutts on twitter and learn to read between the fucking lines.

That's precisely what a site like EzineArticles would have said in 2010. The idea of a farmer/panda update was seo theory then.

Not enough information. Are the 1000 blogs full of rich original content ? Google can detect interlinking pretty well, whether using that SEO Hosting scam or not. Why not just have a handful of super high quality blogs which people will naturally share content from ? Blog entries that they'll tweet and retweet, that they'll email to their friends, that contain information people actually want to read or see ?

They will have quite some rich original content yeah. You seem a little obsessed with the content thing. You know there are people who write honest, content rich unique blogs right?
Google will have no problem whatsoever with my blogs as they won't be spammy, fake, full of crap content.
Just get it out of your system dude.

SEO Hosting, ie: hosting provided on multiple IP addresses from different class c networks provides no benefit to you at all with SEO and is therefore a scam.

Which i'm not gonna do?
And a scam? How is that a scam exactly? Everybody is free to host on what ip they want.
Please explain the scam part.

I have the feeling you seem to think (or want to think) that everyone is cheating Google and you are the master blogger out there who seems to know more about Google than Google itself.

Basically i think you're a fucking idiot and you have issues.

I'm not hostile, I'm just making the point that Google, which accounts for the bulk of search is concentrating on quality metrics when it comes to refining their algorithms.

Google has a quality team, they are trying to reduce the crap on the web, the content that will win out is that which is of high quality, engages users, is shared by people and does not appear designed to be a front for advertising or affiliate marketing. In other words Google wants to provide it's users with the best quality results on page 1.

Unless your sites are better than the best they can be you'll suffer. It's not rocket science. Google has been sending subtle signals for years, Farmer/Panda was a giant signal. This year will be the year they tackle thin content amongst other things.

I don't care if you like what I have to say, whether you disagree with my opinion or whatever. My own testing, slit testing, analysis, use of complex tools all backs up my own views on this. I gain nothing from sharing what I know. Take it or leave it.

I'd say not listening to what Google's quality team has to say is a mistake, each to their own. It's unlikely you compete with me , unless you have a massive physical presence not just an online one.

Difference between blogs that link to sponsor from the images, and blogs that link from the images goes to the original photos (and then text link to sponsor)?

Actually a blog with 1000+ word long posts did much worse for me that the ones with 50 words / post. But that's just one case, no real stats here.

google "big boobs" and you will see two blogs bigboobs.hu and bigboobsalert.com who should not be ranking well according to the adultking doctrine of blogging.

also these sites never ranked well until after the panda updates.

has google made a mistake? or are the google ranks correct and the seo theories are just that, theory?

Me too. The only reason why I blog so much is because they're so simple and fast to make.

It's like spamming without penalty..

And most of the ones I've read are never going to get a bookmark. So it's a constant game of getting traffic to replace the traffic that left.

Can DF create 10 or 20 articles a day that will keep the surfer coming back, interested in what the blog has to say, trust it even and take the recommendations with anything above caution?

Or is it a game of churning out low level content in the hope that someone likes the picture or video of the girl and clicks the link?

Getting a surfer to a site is the first step to selling him something. From there it gets tough, so most rely on slinging numbers at a blog and hoping.

Of course anyone who is writing some great text that keeps people interested and leads them to bookmark and return, then/or leads to an actual sale can ignore the above.

I bet you do. Adultking is just really upset that someone who doesn't follow his Google rules is making more money than he is. It clearly pisses him off that he thinks he knows how everything works and nobody else does and then still people seem to be making more money than him.

Please explain the scam part.

I have the feeling you seem to think (or want to think) that everyone is cheating Google and you are the master blogger out there who seems to know more about Google than Google itself.

Basically i think you're a fucking idiot and you have issues.
Hey man he's not telling you you are going to do that scam. He is referring to those hosting companies that offer so called "seo hosting" with different class C ip's and charge more money than regular ones.

He's not attacking you when he refers to that.

One reason is because tubes are easier to make these days and G likes lower bounce rates, which most tubes have.

The hosted tube in my sig gets about 300-500 uniques daily from SEs alone and I haven't done much with it yet..

But tubes don't convert nearly as well as blogs do..

The most amazing thing about this thread is the complete lack of creativity. You all seem to be doing exactly the same thing, slinging mud at a wall in the hope something will work. Every good idea is leapt on and copied, which doesn't make it a good idea.

A good idea is something that can't be easily copied and still works. The most successful are those who came up with something new, not those who copied everyone else.
OK, jackass, I'll go ahead and divulge something that I'm working on right now.

It's a March Madness/World Cup style single elimination tournament which will ultimately decide who is undoubtedly the hottest new porn star of the year.

This is the 2nd year. It started with 32 girls last year, there was no prize, there were no sponsors, and there was still a lot of participation.

This year I lined up an agency (OC Modeling) to sponsor b/c I felt that it would increase participation amongst at least their girls and would also provide the agency with a unique opportunity to increase their exposure to a plethora of hot new talent.

I also lined up your boy Geezer from over at B&B to supply the prize. Winner gets the $3K USD 24ct gold dildo and runner up gets the smaller one. The prizes also serve to encourage participation.

http://goldsextoys.co.uk/ayona-2way/

At the start of the tournament, the total combined # of Twitter followers for all 64 girls was 1,015,744. At the start of Round 2, the total combined # of Twitter followers for all 32 remaining girls was 807,192.

Why do those #s matter? Twitter is the primary medium that which the girls lobby for votes and total # of followers was a variable that weighted heavily in the secret formula that I used when determining the seedings thereby making it likely that the ones who make it to the championship will be the ones who have made the most tweets to the most total followers.

The data hasn't been fully analyzed yet, but so far many of the girls have retweeted my tweets, many of the girls have made additional tweets on their own to lobby for votes, and there have been cases where girls that whom I had not yet Tweeted were already working their fans. Girls have asked to have their profile pictures changed b/c they want to make sure that they are putting themselves in the best position to win. I've received mentions from their followers and I've received mentions from the followers of their followers. That's 4 degrees of separation and it would honestly not surprise me in the least if I were to get a mention from Kevin Bacon when it's all said and done.

Though the plan was entirely contrived, it was done so in a way to where word will spread virally in an organic type way. It's fun, people enjoy it, there's something in it for everyone, and I've also received a shitload of non-recip linkbacks. Best of all, voting for round two has not even finished yet and there are more bigger and way better promotions planned for the remaining rounds.

You got in very early with the message board idea and were clever enough to build it better than the others. Did you do this by copying everyone else or by trying new things?

And that's the problem with online. There are very few innovators, discounting those who innovate the wrong idea. How many Met Art's are there. How many people were getting girls into the back of vans when Bang Bus came out? Which tubes started in 2007 and made it big. Which Tubes started in 2011 and died?

OK blogging is a great idea. A way to capture a possible customer. But if they're all chasing similar key words, using the same lists, tools and writing stuff only for a spider. It's a constant fight to stay still. Because everyone else is doing exactly the same.

Now point out what's wrong with this statement or just come up with the same stupid replies. That's another copycat action. And we have more than enough copiers already.
I agree with much of what you say here, but i would actually like to see someone try to copy the model from above and to do it well because it would likely give me more better ideas. As it stands, and because of circumstance, I'll likely only be able to implement 13 or 14 of the 35 new ideas for the tournament that I had jotted down throughout the year. If someone else does a similar style tournament and does it well, it could lead to me having 5, 6 or maybe even more new ideas. Fleshbot did their thing late last year, but it was so horrible that I wasn't even able to net one idea out of their efforts. Something that really comes as no surprise when you consider that the entire Gawker network has gone slowly downhill since Lockhart left.

Funny they still have this up when the pics don't even work. This was from 6/7/2010 which was probably only 3 or 4 days after I started my first ever website.

You need a mix of great written content, social integration and user interaction. This takes more hard work the mass produced crap methods some people suggest.

Morphing feeds are duplicate content, spun content is duplicate content, your content needs to be well written, grammatically correct, quality and original content now. Google is all about reducing the web search footprint, that means crap will be more likely to go than high quality content that get's shared socially.

With Google you need to read their signals and read between the lines, they're reducing the search footprint, they have to, millions of indians create wordpress sites every day.

Unless your site is full of high quality, original, engaging, shared and socially integrated content then you're going to be fucked by the end of this year.

If you haven't seen the torrent of comment and opinion about thin content and Google's intention to reduce the search footprint then there's nothing I can do to help you.

Start reading more broadly, read some of the authority sites about search, follow matt cutts on twitter and learn to read between the fucking lines.
Listen, you stupid fucking abo cunt, nobody is impressed with your bullshit and aside from what I just mentioned up above, you have absolutely no clue as to what I'm doing with any of my sites, or what anyone here is doing with any of their sites for that matter, so it would be best for you to just cool it with the ignorance based judgments, shut up, listen, and learn because I am about to explain to you why your entire outlook is SEVERELY flawed from a fundamental standpoint.

While I do agree with your outlook for the next year or so, the underlying reason why those things are likely to happen are because the goal for each update is to not only make search better for the consumer, but to minimize the net positive impact which can be gained by building heavily systematic networks. Google does not like heavily structured blogging systems. Period. My contact at Google, who works on the search team for a major European market, put it to me this way - They feel that users will benefit most if the internet more closely resembles a downtown with character than a cookie cutter collection of suburban strip malls. That's what you're doing. You're building strip malls. While it seems as if your system is and will remain to be technically sound for the moment and yada yada yada, it is still a system, systems are bad, and you can rest be assured that over reliance on any system whatsoever will eventually come back like a dingo to bite you in the arse. So while it seems as if colmike is breaking every rule in the book, your very limited little book, his 'system' works because his system is not really a system at all.

In sum, if you're just the type of person that needs to follow some type of system, any type of system, my suggestion to you would be to read this book, go back and read a bunch of my seo related posts, and then just pretend to be me. Do that and you'll be fucking golden. Good luck!

I dunno if this will help you out or not Dirty F but here's two of my exgirlfriend blogs:

http://nakedexgfsluts.com - this one gets about 250-300 uniques/daily and has gotten me some sales

http://exgirlfriendcumshots.net/ - this one I started not to long ago and is doing decent so far

You really can't go wrong with blogging, it's pretty easy and I'm sure you'll be great at it no matter what route you take.

wow this thread is on fire today....

if there is anything I can add it's that my best blogs and best sites are the ones that I made for fun and not for numbers. Whenever I ignored all rules and all guidelines and did just what I felt like - the sites got to the first page and higher listings sooner than any of my "planned" and "organized" sites. And no, none of them has a dedicated IP or special hosting.

Sounds great. They are harder to market for, but fun.

Here are some random stats for a good nextdoor model blog that I have from SE searches yesterday: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UOinwVZDYT.../ndmscreen.jpg

Apparently my bullshit doesn't work.. :
