    best way to make a download page?

    what do you guys think.

    1. use wordpress with a download manager plugin
    2. use static site (css/xhtml/php for templating)
    3. use an open directory with the files and descriptions.

                                                  ah sorry misunderstand the post, personally for something free, now i would create facebook, twitter and post right there links, that way you will have more social media.. you don't even need website for things like that..
