Do you have kids? Get them an XBOX360, A kincetics interface, and Kinectimals. Very cool.

Kinectimals for the Xbox 360 is cool as hell.

I downloaded the demo yesterday just for the heck of it and expected something weak, but that program is really something. The gameplay is simple enough, basically exploring an island with a bunch of kittens and other animals looking for treasure, but the technology behind the game is great. Not only do the kitties have really good "personalities" and play and run around and all that, but the Kinect Interface lets you play with them, grab, pet, feed, brush them etc, even "scratch" their heads, backs, necks and chins. You can even talk to the damn things by voice.

If thats not enough, the Kinect interface knows where you are in the room, and this info tells the game to change your angle of view. So if you walk from left to right, the image changes your view from left to right, as if you are walking past the kitty for a cool 3D effect.

Anyway it's a kids game of course but I found myself playing and enjoying it for almost an hour. Pretty cool. If you have rugrats, get them this game.
