Do not do it unless you have no ability to recognize good meat and / or can't cook. It's horseshit, you'd have more fun buying thin cut steaks from Wal Mart and eating less meat but actually liking how it tastes.

I prefer to buy a whole cut of whatever it is that I want, so a strip loin for example, will run you between $60 and $100, depending on quality and size.. Take it home, clean it. and cut into any sized steak you want. Put the portions into a vacuum sealer, and you are good to go.
The alternative is to buy a 1/4 or half cow, and tell the butcher how you want it cut. They can generally vac-pac or wrap in butcher paper for you. But at least you know what you are getting. All too often the frozen Boxed meats are like those cowboy steaks that are marinated and tenderized with chemicals.Rich"at"rebel-ads.com

I've got a good friend that has open invitations out for football Sunday barbecues. Because he never knows ahead of time how much food is needed he bought a couple cases of frozen steaks and throws them on the grill as needed.
They taste ok, are a little on the small side, anyway ... What am I eating?

We buy from Schwan's. They have a ton of tasty stuff and in some cases they are cheaper than the grocery store. Especially for appetizer type shit.
I have a buddy who does sales/deliveries for them and he does quite well for himself.

long time ago, had a butcher that delivered. Use to get Filets, wrapped in a box, 12 to 15 of them, pretty cheap and it was always good. I wouldn't do it now.Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Bison inside round roast is delicious and not too expensive. Move on to eating bison hearts and you will realize what you have been missing.
